Marla is the busy mother of four (ages 13,12, 10, 8) and wife to her wonderful husband and Pastor, Jerry.  They will celebrate 14 years together this coming May and Marla says, "besides Jesus Christ, he is the love of my life."  Marla is currently a full time junior high teacher at an alternative school as well as continuing to work on (or, she says, at least dream about) her writing career!  She has been a believer since she was 9 years old but really came to understand the depth of Christ's love while on a mission trip to Japan at the age of 20.  Some of her favorite verses include: Jeremiah 29:11 'I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' Psalm 139- the whole chapter but especially the closing verses, 'Search me Oh God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.' and Joseph's words to his brothers in the last chapter of Genesis verse 20, 'You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.'  Marla says, "There are so many others but I will stop at those!"

Sandy is currently working full time as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the area schools where she enjoys working with children with a range of disabilities. I do not know how I got through life without this relationship with him." Some of her favorite Bible verses include Psalm 28:7 "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him and I am helped" as well as, Proverbs 3:5-6 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight.'
